Demonstration of Wordplayer running on an Rogers HTC Dream (G1) with Google Android.
I'm running Cyangenmod 4.2.13, but you do not need a custom firmware to run this program.
Just search the marketplace for it. It is called Wordplayer. It works together with Calibre, which is a PC or MAC software that manages your eBooks and allows the conversion into eBook formats (files that have file extension *.epub).
If you have epub files on your SD card, you can load them easily by entering Library, then choose Add.
If you do not have epub files, you can convert various file formats using 'Calibre'. I wont to through how to use that program here, but you can convert your ebook to an epub format and transfer them to your phone.

I'm very glad that you impressed with design,but the HTC dream DOES NOT display caller ID for incoming calls, only displays the number but not a name. I was really disappointed from the day 1.
