  • maybe im not fully getting what you are saying but, when SAME poweroutput Evo vs s2k in drag race(not from dig ofcourse), s2k will win. lighter, better aerodynamic, less wheel to distribute power, better topend gearing.

  • sorry, there is no way that evo was racing. a completely stock evo9 dyno's at about 220-230whp. so even if it was untouched that evo (if racing) was to be atleast side by side with the s2k. now u claim that the evo has a 20g. lmao. untouched that would be about 235-250whp (running slightly lean on top) the evo would've def pulled on the s2k. i have a 03evo8 with int/exh and i make 300whp easily. my bestfriend owns a ap1. haven't had the chance to check it out as yet. but it's a pretty sweet car.

  • id pick the evo any day... i do have an 06 evo mr se, im spikking at 26 and tappering down to around 23 on stock wga. stock tune you are looking at somewhere around 17 to 19 psi

    the S2k is a nice car but i wouldnt drive it, comparing the two seems to be unfair anyway, one is a family four door salon while the other is a small two seater with a LOT of power under the bonnet

  • First of all, out of the box both of these motors have a peak threshold of around 400whp in stock form with proper tuning. I don't think anyone would disagree that the 4g63 probably has an advantage do to the fact that it is born as a turbo motor. There are examples of f20/22c's out there running over 500whp on stock motors but they are few and far between.

  • I'll agree with out a little bit... BUT Boost levels doesn't matter.. THe size of the turbo matters. For Example.. Stock 9 Evo turbos need to be around 24-26 PSI to hand with a GT35R stock evo at 16-18 psi. Now if that 35R was at 24-26 The Stock Turbo 9 would get it's doors blown off.

    I love both cars but 4g63 is a true Champ.
