Fried pork chops get a bath in homemade Teriyaki sauce. This is simple
but sooo good.

Pork Chops
Salt & Pepper
Garlic Powder

Sauce:
2 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Sake
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Mirin

  • where can we get mirin or sake?

  • Mirin, can sometimes be found in the Asian section. If not most Asian markets have it.

    Sake can usually be found where ever you buy wine. For cooking I usually use the cheap American stuff.

  • how long did u fry each side of the pork chop? you set the burner as low when u fried them?

  • I guess it was about 4 or 5 min per side. I set the burner on just below medium. These were the normal size so you can't cook them to fast or they will still be raw in the middle. To slow and they will suck in oil.

  • I love this recipe for Teriyaki sauce. Yes it was great the sauce is also great on chicken.

  • If you want a good crunchy crust then yes that would be correct. In my Tonkatsu video I took it to the extream. Egg, flour, egg, flour, egg, Panko then in the cooler for everything to bind.
