Let's Play Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Part 1: So Big, It Couldn't Fit...

Well as expected for most Sonic games, the first couple of levels are easy enough to let the speed do most of the work for you. Alas, sometimes folks like me get so wrapped up in speed that they forget that they don't have a camera to see ahead and the later levels will chew you up and spit you out. Still a fantastic game that in my opinion perfected the 2D Sonic era with a quality that wasn't seen for a long time until probably the Sonic Advance series in the early 2000s. Definitely an epic game that set so many standards.

The fake spikes are easy to spot. i think the bottom of them are shaped a bit oddly compared to the real spikes.

@Xxsasuke51797xX Double A as Sonic is the Insta-shield move. Basically its used to increase sonic's attack range for an incredibly short amount of time. Now it's different when he has an elemental shield, hitting the A button in the air activates the special ability.
