  • Reaper = an awesome DAW.

  • Looking for something to rewire with Reason so i can use a couple of vst's, hardware synths or throw in vocals. This looks perfect for my needs.

  • @Henkera Reason & plugins are 2 totally different things. Last I checked Reason is not plugin compatible.

  • can u use 32bit, 48hz audio in this daw?

  • I'm even playing with it. Using the ReaSamplomatic 5000 plugin as a sampler. I'm having the time of my life with it; no i cannot see anything?

  • amazing круть

  • Oh my god. This thing has done the impossible. I have a suped up gaming laptop, great specs, nothing wrong on the technology front. I tried using cubase. COULD. NOT. GET. RID. OF. LATENCY. Spent hours on forums, trying to figure out the problem, to no avail.

Tried reaper, out of the box, no noticeable latency. Awesome.

  • The only thing that bothers me about this is no audio editing. Is it possible to combine a product such as Audacity with Reaper? Other than that I dont think I can pick anything else appart.

  • reaper is ugly

  • @valentijnraw Yes, you can. View --> Virtual MIDI Keyboard - or press Alt+B

  • can i use an qwerty keyboard as an midi keyboard?

  • @SparkySubie it's not free. It's 60$ for personal use. But if you need more midi functions reaper has a way to program macros for yourself. I don't see how something could be missing if you can actually add it to the program in 3 minutes by creating a custom action.

What is really missing from Reaper ( compared to other DAWs ) is internal VSTi's but, I'd rather use my own chosen ones than pay for internal ones I probably won't use anyways...
