Agreed. Looks like a five year old flicking a clit...Hold your hand over the strings, don't flick from the side and buy a heavier base that wont move around when you play. G&L maybe... some credit...it didn't sound that bad

Waow, great playing !!! great deep tone, I got the same bass but mine sounds less round and deep :( What strings do you use? flatwounds ? What is your amp?

Flatwounds indeed, Ernie balls - think the largest one is 110.
No amp in this, just BassPOD straight into a computer...

This bass is a Fender Jazz Bass. It's a reissue of Fender's 1975 model, and it was made in Japan. I bought it in Japan about three years ago, and I think it's about five year old in total.
