further, just rewatched the video- if (our)existence is the norm, and we can't even conceive of non-existence; then saying "i don't see any evidence" that we keep existing, is not very scientifically viable. Where is the evidence first that all aspects of the individual cease existing?! The problem with that is we havnt been able to even define all aspects of the individual. The neural nets in our brain only account for the moving of information- not where specific info/thoughts arise from.

@SargentandGreenLeaf prt2 So imho its a whole lot of something if u extrapolate... If there is such a thing as 'nothingness', ie does existence just end somehow (like some kind of torus, or circular, complete loop?....but then, whats outside of the torus)? then wouldn't the nothing that exists also be quantifiable as something? Well in that case, existence is infinite, in both time and space and i could say consciousness, though this would require a lot more explanation, so i wont ;P

@SargentandGreenLeaf My friend, i never said religion(re-legion) isnt used for this purpose.... but he turns around and uses another belief system(at least uses it as such). So what does atheism do? creates fear of death, and ignorance/fear toward any greater questions in life. to keep the sheeple inline. My point from the end there is a rhetorical question that needs to be thought on. In essence we dont/cant understand 'nothingness' or infinity so how can we so easily claim to understand death?

@stonereflex your part two said a whole lot of nothing...
religion was created to control people with there own fear of not knowing what existence is, where we came from, and where we are going
its only purpose it to control people, segregate and create hate, to keep us in a state of fear and not love
and the answer to all your questions is LOVE

ps: time is an illusion as a product of this physical realm which gives linearity to our unfolding experiences in infinity. but really, why do you think physicists still hold the concept of time travel as theoretically possible, or the dimensional nature of reality being theorized(scientific type) by quantum science? We dont 'lose' people when they die, a piece of their fractal consciousness is frozen in time they lived and yet the mind exists. hmmm, too much talking, take the DMT shortcut. ;P
-
prt2 Question: if humans invented various religious 'theories' for their own comfort, then why'd they invent the theory of atheism? As both are equally unprovable- at least through philosophizing alone. HOWEVER the thing is that quantum mechanics is proving quite a lot... "spooky action at a distance" ;P for eg.(Einstein) Now what is consciousness is the next question we need to look at, then the big one... is there such a thing as nothingness? if not then what's INFINITY? lol have fun with that

"You will enter a state of nothingness, oblivion" ooh Yaa, can you cite your sources for that please ;P
And no, clearing your mind is not impossible, practice meditation for a while, and you'll see for yourself. Body and mind are 2 different things. You need to loosen up a little my friend, maybe take some DMT. "what is it like to be dead?" ask people who've died and got revived: Near death experiences, its not "Destruction"......

@SecularSaracen one way to get more views for this video and keep the info and thoughts/ progress flowing, I've shared/ emailed the video with my Youtube friends. Those who watch it might find it resonant with themselves and initiate discussion and various energies toward considering and resolving such topics and subject matter.

"pure non-existence" many imaginatively see this as the state of being that preceded (pre seeds) life and follows it; nonetheless, if "pure non-existence" did in fact take place, it would seem that logically that would have stayed the case indefinitely forever [remaining just a blank nothingness/ pure death everywhere eternally] and it then begs the question of is life, in it's essence/ pure being, eternal essentially and is evolving for indefinite life extension realization
are you pro supplement?what do you recommend health wise?excellent videos

I am not an expert in health maintenance; however, I do not see any problems with a rigorous, well-researched approach to taking supplements -- akin to what Ray Kurzweil is doing with his own health. It seems to work for him, but it also takes a lot of time, money, and effort, which many people do not have. I also think it requires more knowledge than the typical layman would have -- and I place myself in that category. Perhaps in the future this approach could become more economical...

This needs a lot more views.

Thank you for watching! I am, of course, of the same opinion. :-)
