A little late but what about a comparison of Little Red Corvette and Up The Ladder To The Roof by The Supremes.
-
I have the other song with Stevie and Prince to...BTW
-
Thank you. I knew I was right about this one.

But there's nothing that can do what you describe - you can do it if you have a clean instrumental though, subtract it from the original - voila - clean acapella. Rare though, as most engineers are wise to that.
-
Not programmes but a few filters / plugins - ExtraBoy is one, Audition can do centre channel, but unless it's some 50's 60's song it's unlikely you'll get something clean with phase extraction or pulling left/right channels or the centre.
Several programs can do DVD extraction from 5.1 - some of these are turning up in dance music now, quite a few - all the Genesis / Collins / Gabriel and even Zep remixes-mashes are because of this - this can be clean but not always.
-
Brilliant - loving the series, I'm a mashup artist and I do a lot of 'that sounds familiar' but this one threw me - I didn't know that, especially about Prince!
And yes my 2nd or 3rd record was Tango in the Night, and I got Rumours and FM shortly after, I love Fleetwood Mac.

It would be nice to made a software in which u can input/record a song, and the software will separate all sound samples from that song. OK, it can't separate the vocals, but by analyzing and recognizing using MIDI samples or what ever samples it can recognize the bass, choirs, etc... and after it, all samples put for you in each channel with the original speed. Which you can pitch if you like or change that sample with some deferent?
What do u think about?

There are programs that seperate vocals, but I don't know much about them.
