From Episode 1839: A nearly naked man (heard only from offscreen at first) gives a rhyming list of the creatures which left him that way.
NOTES:
1. Years after watching this cartoon, I learned that "glutton" is sometimes used as another name for wolverines; that still made me wonder why the animator drew his button-eating animal as a squirrel.
2. I have seen this clip in some 1970s episodes, thanks to the Net--but Muppet Wiki doesn't give an airdate before the episode I got this copy from.

The moth in a way freaked me out only a little when I first saw it when I was 4.

@gameshowguy2000 This is perhaps pushing it, but sometimes people (but usually women in particular) wear pearls. So maybe "this is the squirrel who ate my last pearl"?

"Glutton" is also a term for any greedy person or animal; maybe that's the way they intended the word in this clip.

I knew about that meaning, but with all the other lines mentioning specific animals it's still a bit ambiguous and strange.

Maybe the producers screen-tested this skit with a wolverine, but they changed it to a squirrel when their E&R team decided the wolverine was too scary for children.

Plus I could imagine kids wondering what the heck that weird-looking animal was...
