E3'08 Recap

Quit complaining about the Big N's E3 conference. Nintendo made some big new advancements not only for themselves but some that surpass even Microsoft. Animal Crossing solely has more ways to connect with friends than X-Box live does. You can even send messages from the game to a cell phone! The main difference between Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft is that of all the games they showed, All of Nintendo's games seemed sweet while both Sony and Microsoft's game seemed rather lame, with an exception of a few, IE: Resident Evil 5, Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead and Resistance 2.

Shaun White Snowboarding will use the Wii Balance board. Ubisoft is publishing it. Be out by years end.

Animal Crossing: City Folk comes to Wii. Out by the end of this year.

WiiSpeak: Not a headset, but allows everyone in the room to chat with everyone else on the internet on the other side of the world. Animal Crossing will be the first game to use this.

Head to Head Lightsaber battles in Star Wars, The Clone Wars!

Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party was announced, to also use the balance board.

Cal of Duty: World at War was announced on Wii, is Wii Zapper compatible and has co-op mode.

Guitar Hero: On Tour Decades is on it's way from Activision. Will include song sharing. Be able to share songs between different versions of Guitar Hero.

SPORE Creatures will only be available mobily on the Nintendo DS. Share you creations with friends.

Pokemon Rangers: Shadows of Almia comes out on us shores November 10.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars arrives on DS this winter.

Nintendo plans on using the DS as an information portal for travel and for cooking.

Wii Sports: Resort will be the first game to use Wii-MotionPlus. WiiMotion Plus, enhances the Wii Remote to give you a 1 on 1 feeling with the Wii Remote. Wii Sports: Resort will include a chopping and sparring game, along with a jet ski game, plus many more games not shown at E3.

Reggie calls himself the Regginator.

Wii Music has been announced for later this year. It's easy, fun, and you just pick up and play.

You obviously didn´t even watch the Sony press conference, the had BY FAR the best conference at E3. This year´s E3 was increnibly dissapointing, but Sony showed us some great games, like Resistance 2, a new Ratchet & Clank, Little big Planet, God of War 3 and MAG! What did Microsoft have? Mii ripoffs... ok, what about Nintendo? Voicechat? Well cool, but why the fuck did it take them two years to make VOICECHAT? And the Wii Music presentation was the most embarassing moment in Nintendo history.

I assure you, we tried to watch it. We found it so boring it was excruciating. Nintendo had a very good flowing presentation with exciting announcements where as Sony showed us a bunch of games which all looked the same for PS3, and 3PS games for PSP. Nobody wants to play a 3PS. Then Sony pretended they were selling very well and said Metal Gear Solid 10 times because it is the only decent game that has been released in months. I don't think I even have to mention PS2 because no one cares.

The reason why thought it was so boring is quite obvious: You don´t have a PS3. If you don´t have a PS3, you obviously won´t care about their games. Nintendo just tries to be family friendly and fun, but that really dosen´t do it for me, I was hoping to get info on some new games like: Kid Icarus, Legend of Zelda or Metroid. Also, the PS3 IS selling really well now, the sales have increased with over 120% the last month. Please start making your videos like you used to do: Fun and non-fanboyish.

I'll have you know that Patrick not only has a Wii, but he also has a PlayStation and an xbox. Joseph doesn't spend money so frivolously however.

okay, who's going to be at/watching e3? video game fans. NOT casual gamers. so why the heck did nintendo think it would be a good idea to show CASUAL games to a HARDCORE audience?

There were no real surprises from the big three. Apart from Final Fantasy 13 on 360 and oh yeah Nintendo E3 sucked ass.

Sad to say this, but Nintendo conference sucked!

Sony was by far the best, with the annoucement of GoW3 and a new Ratchet and Clank, and videos from Resistance and LBP.

Also WiiMusic is not fun! It's the worst Nintendo idea I heard since the Virtual Boy
