I like Ward, and I think he fairly won this fight(unlike Froch and Dirrell) BUT, I can argue that the fight wasn't to Kesslers strong points. Ward was moving in and staying close to Kessler, keeping him from loading up any powerful shots, but thats just good boxing. I won't say that Kessler was holding anymore than he should have, and I will say that Ward instigated most of the holding situations.The headbuts were very unfortunate, but accidental. Even still, Ward won this hands down.

he was up 6 points on two cards. that means he would need 6 point deductions to get a draw. the fight was not close. the ref was not punching kessler in the face all night. ward was. kessler didnt cry when the ref stopped the fight. he wanted out. look at his body language when the fight was stopped. only when the mic was in his face he began to cry and say he could continue.

You can say whatever you like about Kessler, but Ward should have got some points deducted.

Where is Ward from again? Ah, USA. And the referees? Also USA? What a coincidence. This was so unfair and the referees didn't even see the faults Wards did during the fight. USA won because of that - otherwise he'd lose too many points doing the shit he did.
