I used to be a neocon and buy into Netanyahu's BS that Israel is America's greatest ally. Then I learned they are the top recipient of US foreign aid despite being one of the world's 25 richest countries. They have not deployed a single troop along side ours in Iraq or Afghanistan. Add the King David Hotel, Lavon Affair, USS Liberty, and insisting on preserving Israel as a "Jewish State" while opposing nationalist movements abroad. With friends like this, who needs enemies?

Scheuer doesn't BS with anybody. He stuck it to the scumbag Bill Maher in the following interview. First time in my life I've seen somebody have the guts to say Israel is not worth any more American lives on a well-known news broadcast.

He's endorsed Ron Paul and might get a cabinet position. Many supporters would love to see him as Secretary of State, though I don't know if that's likely to happen.
