Here is one of our male adult kinkajous, playing outside in a tree. He is very attached to us, and always comes back and wont let us out of his sight if we are outside.
Kinkajous make great pets for the right people, we have babies available off and on throughout the year.

@pocacasper They are not "illegal to trade" if you purchase one from a licensed breeder, which we are double licensed with USDA and Texas PW. Just because something is nocturnal doesn't mean it inst a great pet...Hamsters are nocturnal...

are kinkajous good at being alone? Most pets are social creatures and have certain social behaviors that need to be addressed.

@JandaExotics Rabbits, bunnies, cats, some breeds of dog, many domesticated birds, domesticated owls... these are all nocturnal. the list goes on and on and on.

I have looked online everywhere and cannot for the life of me get a clear answer if they are legal in my area or not. Do you know if they are legal or have regulations in Charlotte, N.C? I would love to have one and I have been reading on them for the past couple of years, but nobody seems to be able to give me a clear answer. I would hate to go off of these foggy opinions and end up breaking the law because I and the Kink would have to pay the consequences. Please, help me out? Thank you! ~Rach
