i was on the same flight in december of 2009 and the TV didn't work. the flight attendant was very nice and asked me to send a letter in to get some sort of a refund. He also said that the babus at air India were ruining it. I also felt the same, the younger flight crew was very responsive but the old fuddy duddy attendants were real pain in the ass, especially the ground staff guy at franfurt. I wish I remembered his name. I also wish I had done something about his rudeness.

Lol true..9 hours is not that long...I flew 18 hours from Newark to Mumbai :p

i dont think that flight was available at the time of my trip. i went in the summer of 2007 and i dont think air india had the 777-200LR at that point

I'd appreciate it if you's keep your raciest comments to yourself. The flight for me was bad and the in-flight entertainment was not working. However, that does not give you the right to make such broad and senseless comments about an entire race of people. Grow up and act like an educated person, make comments that get people interested and not ones that turn people away from your point.

Stand up to them and voice your concerns public!!!
I didn't just have a bad day and I'm not whining.
Customers deserve to get what they pay for, I'm lucky it was only 9 hours. I could have been longer like some of the other people who didn't get what they paid for in this blog and have suffered 18+ hours.
