This is not the Original Platters. It may be a newer versin of them. It is not Gene Chandler either.

It does sound very much like the Platters. I heard the same song yesterday on radio. The radio announcer mentioned that the Platters version was made when they were not so famous and the song was never publicly released. So its a mystery as to how it ended up here and on radio.
