I'm very impressed with Nishioka's victory, especially considering he went into hostile territory to defend his title against my boy Gonnzalez.

I take nothing away from Nishioka's victory, but I have to say that Jhonny is seriously falling off. I think his career is just about over. I favored him to beat the Japanese coming into this bout, so I'm slightly disapiointed that he wasn't able to lift the WBC strap from Toshiaki. Jhonny's propbably going to be reverted to steppingstone status now

That being said, this is a excellent victory for Nishioka and I'm very interested in seeing what this talented Japanese fighter does in the future.

Maybe Hasegawa will step up in weight and engage in a all japanese battle with his fellow countryman.

I'm not sure Nishioka could handle Juanma right now, but he will make it an interesting fight.

I'll favor him over Bernard Dunne, Probably Penalosa as well.

I think he'll give both Rafael Marquez and Caballero a run for their money!!!

Yeah, other countries are finding out what it takes to get big fights. Everyone has to pay their dues, there's only so many big name fighters out there right now.
