Ms. Bergeson needs to resign. I can't believe the math homework my kids bring home. Homework consists of arbitrary and unclear questions with no definitive answer. Students work in "groups" to come up with answers and are encouraged to "discover" the answer. No right or wrong way to it...no guidance..absolutely ridiculous. Forget about engineers and scientists. The kids that graduate here in Washington can rarely count back change at Jack in the Box. I'm very disappointed. Please vote for Randy!

Yeah she sure was like George w. Bush the former U.S. President you know he did so much damage too! he even helped Terri Bergeson too. By saying that he was for all state assements and will be sure they are kept. And require every single american student to take them. This video is great. I graduated in the class of 2001, we tested the WASL out. Talk about a waste of time. She has done NOTHING to improve education in this state and she tried to run for a 4th term? Who the hell does she think she is, FDR? Nah, FDR got elected a fourth term and he actually got stuff done in his three terms!

Now that my daughter is taking algebra in middle school, I see why my students have so much trouble with college math: they aren't taught math in middle school. Instead, they're taught something more like math appreciation. There's basically no coverage in their books of the symbolic manipulations necessary to solve algebraic equations. This cripples their ability to do calculus, so they'll never be able to have science, business, or technology careers. This insanity must end!

Wow. This is right on target. Thanks for exposing the fraud and poor return on our investment. I hope that by electing Dorn, I can get a better education value out of the HALF of my property tax which OSPI gets to spend. I actually voted for Bergeson in the last election - I'm so embarrassed!
