www.frankperry.co.uk Deep listening improvised sound meditation on a large selection of hundreds of Himalayan and Tibetan Singing Bowls by Frank Perry. Mostly stroked bowls featuring Elephant Bowls (Mani bowls) and an extremely rare antique bowl with its own base transition to medium to high pitched bowls. Recorded at Michael House a converted church and hence a very good live acoustic space in Cambridge U.K. by Rose Perry 10th May 2008

  • ? white noise is a good feeder for the waves to the brain...

  • Well White Noise is an electronic phenomenon whilst these sounds are acoustic (albeit relayed through electronics). A boost in the electronic feed to the brain lies in the upper partials if music/sound. A good place to look for more on this is in the work of Alfred Tomatis.

  • Those stroked bowls carry a strong sound-wave-energy. I enjoyed them very much and a nice contrast to the struck bowl sounds. Afterwards I began to experience the struck bowls as sounds floating also.

  • This is a nice piece of work. Too Bad you were not able to filter out the negative background energies.
