Those stroked bowls carry a strong sound-wave-energy. I enjoyed them very much and a nice contrast to the struck bowl sounds. Afterwards I began to experience the struck bowls as sounds floating also.

Well White Noise is an electronic phenomenon whilst these sounds are acoustic (albeit relayed through electronics). A boost in the electronic feed to the brain lies in the upper partials if music/sound. A good place to look for more on this is in the work of Alfred Tomatis.
