J. Hammer - Crockett's Theme Cover

While making new sounds in Studio Elektronicznych Nagrań I achieved an interesting bass from the Yamaha QS300. It reminded me of Jan Hammer's Crockett's Theme, so I'd made the full cover in no time. No samples, computers or other instruments used here! All the sounds and sequences I programmed from the QS300's LCD. Simple! @gontigsm QS300 ze wszystkim dobrze się uzupełnia. U mnie kilka najcześciej używanych przycisków popękało mimo bardzo ostrożnej obsługi, gumę pod klawiaturę wymieniłem już ze 2 lata temu i poza stacją dyskietek która czasami zachowuje się po swojemu, wszystko działa wręcz doskonale :-)

Aranż taki jak w oryginale.

Difficult lead sound.

The original is half a sampled messy pipe or vocal tuuuu or huuuhhh and mixed with some saw wave maybe... isn't it?

But your rhythm section is just kool again! Even the bass makes that 1/32s on the end.

I think the original lead was kind of analogue synthesizer's marimba sound with some digital background. It's very probable they were sampled together as one.

Sprzęt, z którego do dziś można wykrzesać wiele - wystarczy go ujarzmić. Przy odrobinie chęci i cierpliowści, można stworzyć naprawdę nieźle brzmiące produkcje! Mam go od 1997r i nadal jestem zadowolony - poza tym - bezawaryjny!

Good point. However, in this performance it is impossible because it is the QS300 "live midi" song and the whole polyphony is used up already. Thanks for your comment.
