This is a show the today's generation have to get familiar with. I'm a part of this generation and find this cinematographic piece of work a tremendous achievement, which remained unsurpassable to this day with more moral and metaphor in it than most of the movies and TV shows that come out in these latter days.

Originally telecast on October 9, 1959. Ed Wynn had previously appeared in Rod Serling's teleplay, "Requiem for a Heavyweight", on "PLAYHOUSE 90" in October 1956 (against all odds, in fact- no one, including Serling, had any confidence that Ed could pull off a dramatic performance on a live TV show...but he did!), and Serling wrote this one specifically with Wynn in mind...
