Kiwi, I followed your suggestion and signed up on the website you recommended. It's really fun! Danke für den Tipp. Only 5 days into it, and I'm addicted. Auch, because of you and your first video, when I exercise at the gyn, I now count my repetitions in Deutsch. Fortunately, the reps don't come very fast, so that gives me time to remember the German numbers.

i am trying to learn your language and quickly found online translators fail bad lol. i got my interest because i started a family tree and learned both sides of my family are from germany. of course i know im not going to learn the language from youtube but you have been really helpfull in some basics and getting started!! thank you so much!

wenn man sich vorstellt mit "ich bin" klingt es lockerer und moderner als mit "ich heiße", stimmt wirklich. Ich erzähl' keinen Quatsch.

Don't follow her. You can say: "Ich bin Peter" (I'm Peter) and not "Ich heiße Peter". First one is modern, second one is old-fashioned.
