Venturing to the planet Ilum on one fine day, I came across 2 enemy level 50s in the Body Type Four guild. They were not very good, and I killed them both with 100% hp remaining.

I then went in the direction they were heading to see what was up. I found a level 13 Smuggler named "Jobotoo" capturing the control points so that the 10+ Imperials there could trade off the objectives with him.

I decided that vigilante justice would be the best way to deal with this situation.

Excuse me, I'm new to MMOs, this sounds like a swift strike of justica (what you just did) but... I don't know what the heck is going on. Could you please explain to me, like I'm a five year old, what exactly were they exploiting? I don't think you can trade items between factions.

Sorry if I sound like a dolt, I just want to know :P

@7SDice They are capturing objectives using a low level character on the opposite faction and then re-capturing them on their mains on the other side for self gain.

@Charleon This isn't the exploit that everyone is talking about. This is trading capture objectives for the pvp daily only obtainable at level 50, going around looting the chests on low levels is the exploit, not blowing up the walkers.

Wow, You're kind of my hero. i have read alot of the 'controversial' bannings regarding the Ilum loot bug, and the articles doesn't really say anymore than "low level characters goes to ilum and loots chests", but actually seeing it in action like this shows there is nothing controversial about it, it's systematic exploitment. You sir, are a hero that ensures the continued longeivity of the server, I salute you!

we all knew the game had flaws before it came out and this just prove us right.

i hope they improve it but imo i dont see it.
