one question:
was he diagnosed at birth or when he got his shots?

he was perfectly normal, hitting every milestone until around 15 months then he started regressing. Now at 8 he is developmentally between 2 and 4 depending on what he is doing.

Seems to me that most autistic kids are boys. Is that a fact or just my imagination? What about living independently and getting a job later in life? Is that possble?

Yes, most autistic children are boys, 1 in 150 children will be autistic, 1 in 52 boys will be autistic. Tigger is low functioning. He will most likely never live independently, but he could hold a job in a controlled environment
