Bristol Millenium Orchestra 2008.

Proms evening held on 4th October 2008 at Filton Community Centre. This is now a regular fundraising event.

Their first visit was in October 2007 when the Memorial Hall still had verticle blinds instead of the current heavy curtains. The acoustic was absolutely amazing being lively and clear and I have never heard anything like it before or since. Each instrument could be picked out and its tone colour and vibrational qualities aprreciated. When I arrived home that evening many hours were spent adjusting the level controls on my treasured but subsequently destroyed Acousic Research AR 5s. The whole of the following week was spent listening excusively to classical music.
