This is s demo of a finish cut on my homemade copy carver using a saburr tooth fine. The TV stand is rough on the top and so is the wood. However if you look at the sides where the stand is smooth you will see the wood did that same in that area. build thread here - http://acapella.harmony-central.com/showthread.php?t=2525576. copy carver plans available here - http://www.copycarver.com/.

  • You can get away from expensive tooling kits (stylus and cutter) by using router bits! I take a block of pine and drill into it using the router bit that I want to make a stylus for... Pine must be clamped solid to the drill press! Unchuck the bit and put an old drill bit in it's place. Lower the bit into the hole and pour hot lead into it! :) That easy, be careful!

  • Hope you don’t mind me saying, I’ve got a better more accurate way! I’m an inventor going public. Tolerances an issue? Mine holds between a 32nd and 64th of an inch! I’m in Buffalo, NY. $20 gets you my idea, sorry to charge, I absorbed way over 10K debt experimenting! You are not allowed to post my pictures, copyrights and patent pending. I’ve got 2yrs to deal w/lawyers.

  • Can you copy someone's face with that?
