he didnt turn the bottom stick ... i know what he did ... i could do a complete flip witch the top-stick.
i will post a video-respone in a few days.
p.s. you could the do this trick with "round" stickes (without edges)

you put one stick in between your thumb and index finger and put another above that one and push your thumb down a little bit and it makes the one on top jump a little
