@hawcubites That show was it! The absolute best rendition of Purple Rain he ever performed. Great show from start to finish. He got better at performing over the years, but that was the best show I have ever seen by any artist, be it rock, country, or any other genre you can come up with.

Best concert I EVER went to was Prince back in the 80's. He is a huge talent! His pre Purple Dove stuff is incredible, like this!

@MrPrincepop It's not about the accolades. It's about the "all art should be free" attitude, which began around the time of Napster. Making music is "a profession" for Prince, and his works are things he sells to make a living. When you don't pay for music/art someone else used their money/time/ability to make, you're "shop-lifting", at the very least! The internet has created a lot of "shop-lifters"! If it didn't cost him anything to make music, it would be a different story, but it does :-)

@Demetriusdionne Prince was my favorite singer back in the 1980s to the point where I was idolizing him, but people aren't draining his bank account because he makes millions on top of millions. You can argue on principle that his fans shouldn't be downloading his material, but there isn't much (if anything) to gain by suing common working class people who just want listen to his music.
