  • A very unforgetable day in Minnesota history.

  • I think they were just using the graphics from their weather radar... probably because it was so sudden they didn't have any other graphics prepared.

  • I heard this collapse... such a loud thunder... Worst tragedy in minnesota in a while.

  • All the Twin Cities TV stations were very quick on this story because it happened durring the 6 PM newscasts. National news outlets picked it up about 15 minutes later about 6:20 PM CDT

  • The comment below regarding the storm alert is accurate: Police helos were grounded for a time due to very strong storm cells and high winds in the area shortly after the collapse. The driver of the Tasty Bread truck mentioned in DeRuscha's report was killed in the collapse.

  • actually the reason why they put the storm alert up is because there was a storm approaching the area from the north and the reason why i kno this because i was wacthing this channel until they said it collapsed because i took my bike and rode down there and walking or biking was the only option to avoid traffic and the minnesota twins was playing at the time so they kept them inside the stadium and what the reporter described was accurate but it's alot more when u see it in person

  • they used that to show where it was

  • At the begaing they made a mistake they put storm alert lol

  • all of the anchors in MN that day were very rattled.....

  • Dude blinked twenty-two times in 14 seconds. Somebody should have given him a hydro-spray or something before the camera started. Poor guy. probably the air conditioning in the building, there are times I get like that too.
