Meh. Sounds too tidy by half.

Hope he's right. But I tend to think Chris Hedges has the more convincing read on things when he said in an Oct 18 column (referencing Derrick Jensen) that the problem is industrial capitalism...and I'm just not seeing the political 'harnessability' or even the political will to SERIOUSLY fight that fight, least of all in the developed and BRIC countries.

Absolutely Brilliant! I needed to hear this! Yes to capping emissions, yes to saving the planet. But I do think we need more Theremins! =) Seriously, this is Nobel Peace Prize material!

I liked the way drew out the numbers, and showed how we might contain dangerous climate change if we just summoned the will.

In doing so, helped overcome a problem. We can't summon the will, if we don't have a gameplan. I think this video goes well with Transition Town videos by Rob Hopkins.
