Doesn't do justice to the experience of Linwood from 1950-1997. So sad. We got cut out of the Will. One /l/ on Vermilion and we are all proud of that! Whether we were Methodists or whatever, including African-American and part of the US Astronaut team, we enjoyed Linwood. Some could only pay the daily fee and filled the picnic area with languages other than English. I felt, as a kid, like I had been somewhere when I had been to Linwood/Vermilion. I played baseball, tennis, swam.
SOB, VERMILION is spelled with ONE L you fing moron! nice you aholes could hoard the beach and lock everyone else out. just a group of dickheads, still going to "service"
This was great. Both my grandfathers built in Linwood. The one had and still is the only dark cottage. Gramps had the only painted black cottage; on the corner. My dad as a teenager got paid to ride the wagon and pick up trash. Maybe that's how he met my mom there? Mom's cottage was by the tennis courts and we played for hours. We held a family reunion there few years back. Truly one of Ohio's best treasures.
sorry the negative comments below were for the "nanjam1" comment! :)

Hey our extended family vacations here too every year since1974! Haven't missed a year since. We rent the lodge along with 20 friends and family.

Who's the guy at 0:45 with the green shorts? He looks like he's in tip-top shape. Must be a tri-athlete or something...
