  • What's the music please?

  • @Tiniflo Can't help you there :/ hopefully someone here knows. I'd like to know too!

  • Call me odd, but I like listening to classical music when playing chess. I am using Fritz 11 at the moment, together with a DGT smartboard.

While I own all Fritz versions from 1 to 11 ((single cpu ones only), I may just not buy version 12 and stick with 11 until it fails on future operating sytems... I really, really hate that ribbon in 12. (That STUPID thing takes SO much space on a widescreen :X) Having to activate version 12 isn't going to help me to buy it either...

  • Well firstly I like listening to classical music when playing chess also. Secondly the Graphics in Fritz 12 are better and while playing one can maximize the board with the touch of a button. Fritz 12 has taken some steps into improving itself without losing its classic feel that its predecessors had. This is my opinion in the end of course.

  • Beautiful music !

  • Thank you!

  • _Chessmaster YEYY!!!

  • Did Fritz 11 played according to its highest benchmark? also, fritz must be set to tournament mode to execute its strongest move, because when fritz is played on friendly state it will sometimes make weak moves (or third best move). Anyway, i prefer fritz 11 over 12 and Chessmaster 10 over 11. :) Nice win there by grandpa with black. :)

  • this is crazy symetrical

  • @Tiniflo

This music is from the Beethoven's piano concerto nº5, second movement ;)

  • @jebbatan Oh great, thanks!

  • @efastMixer Simple. One side makes a move and a human physically makes the move for it; then on the human side its program makes a move and transmits it to the program of the first mover. There need not be a computerized interface of the two programs.

  • makes no difference putting this up unless you explaiun who is white & who is black
