Before they were finger eleven they were known as the rainbow butt monkeys and here is the music video for their third single off letters from chutney called "as far as i can spit"

Ive been following finger eleven since tip first came out and I live in devon england. No-one (and I mean no-one) had heard of F11 of RBM. It was like my little secret haha. i tried to share it but no1 got it, their loss aye.

@MrTWB141 Their "Serious" songs always sounded like the lead had his balls in a vice. IMHO Nothing beats their RBM songs, not even paralyzer, but thats just me.

I honestly miss these guys... Letters from Chutney will forever remain on my playlists. I know they are still together and just changed their name and style but what else is there?

@boxerman747 YOU shall stand corrected. The Rainbow Butt Monkeys would have made it whether they won the 97.7 Rock Search or not. Many GREAT talents arose from Burlington. Good friends and fellow jam mates were not far behind them. Slurpy Mundae AKA Idle Sons were amongst the many great acts from Halton. Without going into detail, Spermy was also a well known act all on his own !!!

@kunglek From what I heard, they began making serious songs, and decided to shed the whacky image associated with a name like 'RBM.' Personally, I kind of miss the funk rock sound haha

You shall be corrected they won first place in 97.7's rock search.. 1994 was the year, it brought them cash, studio time and interest from record labels if they hadnt won that rock search they probably wouldnt of been around as a band now
