I've always preferred the wider Eotech windows myself. But mine recently started shutting off while shooting, even with my .22 conversion. And I have the XPS model which is the single CR123A battery that is transversely mounted. I thought it was just the older 512's that had those issues... Disappointing, will send back for a new one.
