1968 Dodge Dart *Owned by a 17 year old kid*

This is my 68 Dodge Dart. I've owned this car for almost 6 years now (Since I was 12). I am now almost 18. This is the 3rd motor in the car, starting off life as a 318. I then put a 340 in it, and now moved up to a Bigblock:

426 Wedge.

This is one of the first times starting. Car has open headers right now, but I'm getting exhaust my exhaust re-welded to fit with the "Schumacher shorty" headers.

440's are nice if your building a giant paperweight! Stick with the 340, the motor alone is worth the price of a half a dozen 440's

A giant paper weight? Right..... I don't really care what motors are worth. I have less into my 440 then I did my 340 and I'm going over 2 seconds faster. Makes sense to me. BIG BLOCKS are the way to go. 340s are SLEDS

Maybe if all you have is a 318 and can't afford anything else... But going with a 360 would be better because it has a larger bore and more stroke.. You'll always get more out of a 360 then a 318.

@dartness340 he dosent get it man. i put a 440 in my dart. and it is way cooler than a 340 anyday. and fenderwell headers too
