The new ad campaign for UK's leading trade recommendation service.

Based on brand awareness, job submissions and website traffic, RatedPeople.com is the UK leader in connecting homeowners with quality, local tradesmen. With over 1 million jobs submitted and more than £1 billion in trade value created for tradesmen, it's no wonder we are seen as "better than word-of-mouth".

The ad was created in August 2011 by producer J. Harry Edmiston and director Matteo Pizzarello.

I used to use Rated People a couple of years back,ended up dumping them because of their rip off fees.

Just out of curiosity,recently signed up again to see if anything had changed............and it hasn't.

Still a rip off site!

Will never use again.

Rated People do check gas safe certification now, though this is a recent change.

I have been an Electrician for 21 years and I have been a Rated People customer since spring '08.

I do get work from the site and it is a good way of getting work done quickly.

People who use the site should remember that WE the tradesmen have to buy the contact details of each customer individually.

Please only post if you are genuinely looking to have the work done, many people use the site out of curiosity.

ALWAYS check a tradesman credentials.

Rated People do NOT check qualifications.

I quite agree with jennieHolyoak, I know a lot of Police officers that have trades, just like firemen! Being a trained Police officer does not mean that is all your capable of doing, People do have a life as well!

Excellent. Clean. Simple. Could do with multi race, women as well, different ages and body sizes.

Re comment about ex copper - lots of people change career but it doesn't affect their professionalism or skills.

As a member of Rated People since March this year, have won only 6 jobs, rated five star by 5 of them, the other one sent a very nice and complimentary letter saying how pleased he was, but got fed up trying to rate me on the site! People, please remember that the tradesman has to buy your lead based on what you say you want to pay, please dont say youir budget is £3000 when you mean £250 ! Seems there are people out there who are prepared to have a go for peanuts, employ them at your own risk

Would be nice if one or more of the tradesmen was a woman. Or is there a different word for 'tradesman' that isn't a mouthful? Tradesperson is a bit crappy. Trader doesn't really do it. Any other ideas anyone?

Very good, Ive been using RP for a year and it cant be faulted for generating good lead just wish it was cheaper
