General Motors have released the first images and details of the 5-door Chevrolet Cruze hatchback. The show car will be officially unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show on the last day of September.
Although billed as a show car, it's not likely there will be many changes to the exterior design when the model hits production. The model is described to feature a coupe-like roofline to enhance the overall sporty appearance and it is built on a new body-frame integral system (BFI) which results in greater stability and solidarity.

so is this a concept or is this really what the cruze hatchback is going to look like?

@driftalotapus i like front wheel drive better than rear wheel drive because it has more predictable handling.

Can you believe a auto mfg this size still doesn't have a hatchback in their inventory worth competing against Ford/Toyota or any other company? I just bought a Matrix after I gave our Pontiac Vibe to our son. One of the last great versatile and exc mpg vehicle they ever made.
