Congratulations to all the bicyclists competing in the summer Portland, Oregon bicycle racing event series at Mt. Tabor, a dormant volcano in SE Portland and a public park.

Mt. Tabor http://www.portland.com/pdf/mt-tabor-bike-map.pdf is an excellent destination for serious bicycle racers, mountain bikers, and casual bike rides. Especially on weekly Wednesday nights when the park is closed to auto's, and early in the summer the Mt. Tabor bicycle race series is thundering around the park in the early evenings.
