Finally a happy one!
One of my oldest songs (recording available at www.myspace.com/projectinfinity). It's a song about a fictionalized or idealized version of a real place. I wrote Half Moon Bay back in my senior year of high school. A friend moved there and that young romantic in me just fell in love with the city's name.
I've never been to Half Moon Bay and I'm not sure if I ever will. It's become this sort of utopia - a place that exists only in my imagination. The California of California.
Anywho I've finally started to figure out how to perform it live *and* solo. It's still on the high side for my voice but as long as I don't get a phlegm ball in my throat I'm good.
Yeah, and still gotta start doing more vocal warm-ups
thanks!
