actually even with just the raw sound comming from the build in speakers, it sounds pretty powerful

why in HELL do you make a DEMO of a Music-app using built-in speakers?!?! if you have enough bucks to get an IPAD, for BettyWhite's sake get an audioInterface for less than a hundred and record quality audio.

@djsmithy: Ohh, ok. Great. I was just stunned that such a fine piece of software would be useless without audio hardware to match. And with the latest development from Apple removing all high quality audio chips and using substandard ones except from the most expensive products I was a bit nervous this one wouldn't be up to standard :) This looks very promising indeed...

is there a MIDI interface or USB or something ? iPad (hate that name!) could be useful as control panel surface for controlling synths, drum machines and sequencer. IF it all works ... I like the idea (in principle).

oh and btw, the dude had just received his ipad that day,

so he obviously uploaded a quick and dirty vid of the app, with the excitement!

there will be plenty of demo vids with high quality audio to come,

just be patient! ;)

Ah I see what you meant now.

It has a 3.5mm headphone output, i'd imagine the sound quality isnt too far different from the ipod touch / iphone.

It *might* be possible that audio interfaces for the ipad come out,

if theres enough bandwidth that is.

2 midi interfaces are already due to be released according to the matrix synth blog.
