Some sleeping disorders are very serious. But not this one.

The most frustrating thing about my sleeping disorder is that having heard several audio recordings and watched this video recording of myself, I really have no recollection of what is so very funny. You can see this when I eventually wake up. I am not at all impressed that I am being filmed either! Whilst it may seem that I am waking up early on in the video, it seems that what I am doing is blinking away tears of laughter that have built up pressure behind my eyelids! How I wish I knew what on earth was so funny!

i laugh in my sleep too i even remember it too ... bunch of dumb crap i would never find funny when awake i never used to do that when i was a kid i slept pretty quietly. i guess thats what happens when you get old ...er

My partner does this , but then she starts crying with the same intensity its quite frightening I don,t know whether to wake her from her crying or leave her to go through it natrualy ????
