The people of Houston voted to ban red light cameras on November 2nd, 2010. After 13 days of delaying, the city finally upheld the will of its citizens and ordered ATS to shut them off.
Lawsuit may be filed by both the city and ATS over the contract cancelation
I see the problem. We need a new mayor.Anyone in favor of red light cameras needs to be voted out.

Police in Iowa violated my civil rights to a trial
I chose to contest the accusation and waited for a court summons
Instead I was invited to ask for a "hearing" with the police department to which of course I did not agree. Police department have no authority to hold court. Only the court may hold court. I never received a summons to answer the charge but a fine was imposed by the red light camera people without a trial and moved to collections.
I'm looking for a civil rights lawyer.

Freedom after communism, now if we could do that with seat belts, we might bring back freedom of choice, I'm not saying they're not safe, I'm just saying you should have the right to choose, just like you have the right to ride a motorcycle.............
