Sugarfoot: Another gifted, original, severely underrated, highly influencial artist. Helped bring the "Ows," "Oh Childs, "yeows" and the "huhs" deeply in in a soulful groove to 70/80s funk. He's an elder of music that should be honored by other musicians. "Runnin folks in the ditches, girl ya bouta buss yo stitches, yeow!" Skin Tight.! :-) yess. didn't get any better.

Dear God, are you serious? You know my man Sugarfoot? haha I started drumming with him (playing with my albums) as a 12 yr old white girl back in the day and continued for years!! Im very glad to meet you. Ive never been able to speak to SugarFoot in my life. I always always wanted to tell him what a fan I was, with YouTube maybe I can express it today. He will always mean the world to me. Wheres thier fan page, or fan email please?? :) Thankyou. <3

No matter what their differences I will always love and have a place in my heart for The Ohio Players. they fused Jazz with funk, with Rock and church like harmonies. they inspired and there music continues to inspire me to this day. i wish them all well.

No matter what I will love ALL the original Ohio Players because of what they brought to music in general, not just black music.

ive said it before and ill say it again- the ohio players is the best band ive ever heard- ever. the rolling stones and beatles cant hold a candle to them. sugarfoot is one of the best guitarist ive ever heard. when they come back to chicago, im taking my son to see them to show him how real band plays and you wont get to hear singing like this on modern radio. thanks for posting the vid.

I think people forget that there were many variations of Ohio Players, they have never called themselves" The Ohio Players". Ohio Untouchables, Ohio Players ( observa-
tion in time), then The Westbound Ohio Players. Greg, Sugar, Satch, Pee Wee, Marshall, Dale, and sometimes Bruce and or Merv and Chet. Then the Mercury Players of course who we all now know with Diamond and Billy. Let's not talk about the Arista years. All standing members names went on all of the songs regardless.

Sugarfoot and the Players are keeping the Flame alive. They give a great concert.
if billy beck never wrote those hits sugar would still be a backround singer , without skin tight, fire, the players stop with junnies hits, and sugar never sung lead on any one of those songs.

i never said bad things about one person first of all, and as far as the players surviving without beck i guess playing all of the songs he wrote help that along, how many hits did they have after he was gone, last time i checked 0, and they tried to record after him but nothing ever came out of that. sure sugarfoot is a superstar and i do respect him but billy beck put the players on the map and they are still working because of those hits he wrote. tell the truth and shame the devil.

(its a shame that sugarfoot and the rest of the players keep trying to act like billy beck had nothing to do with all of those hits) thats one person above (sugarfoot) as u stated his name on other post on other sites as well, mr vdaddy read what u r saying, if im not mistaken..billy was on the back album, not hit, he was on the graduation album no hit, live in atl, no hit..so maybe it wasnt just billy, he is talented, but not invinceable...they will b fine with or without him, no hard feelings
