Acoustic cover of the song Feelin' Alright written by Dave Mason from the band Traffic on their 1968 self-titled album. Joe Cocker did the most famous cover of the song in 1969 on the album "With A Little Help From My Friends". I was misled and thought Joe Cocker wrote the song which explains the opening title.

This is an easy and fun song to play. It is basically 2 chords and the strumming pattern really makes the song. I do a lot of slides from a half step down which you can easily figure out from the video. The second chord could be barred but I keep it pretty loose and just play the low E string with my thumb. Good Luck!

  • thanks! yes, I always use standard tuning

  • Nice cover man! You made it your own. Singing on Youtube is as much a matter of courage than talent. You've got both.

  • Agreed, so many people comment on the song not sounding just like the original. thanks
