I want to go on a cruise so bad, and take my 4 foster kids with me. Too bad I will never afford it, this looks fun.

OK so this is maybe a strange question. I will be taking my kids on this cruise in a month or so at which time I will be 16 weeks pregnant. Need to know if it is a smooth ride. My OB said to use my judgement about the slide. I drive a Jeep wrangler that jars be more often than this slide would. I figure the tube is also a cushion. They worry about a hard jar or blow because of placental detachment. My 5 year old has to ride this and the only other option to take her down is my 80 yr old mom.

@colorfulaura The ride is fairly smooth, there are a couple of spots (like a small drop) that lift you a bit off the tube. Aside from using your own judgement, you might want to call your travel agent (or Disney Cruises direct depending on who you booked with) and ask if they have a restriction regarding riding while pregnant.

Id love to try a disney cruise but WOW are they overpriced! I love Celebrity and RCL enough to say that they are great, unless you have kids, what the point of paying almost a grand more for the same cruise length!

@Acc0rd79 Actually, if you are flexible on your time, you can get a pretty good deal. Yes, Disney is a higher rate, but the experience for kids is worth it. And I agree, I love Celebrity and Royal as well! Big fan of the Solstice Class Ships!

I just have a general question - would you recommend disney magic for families only or for singles as well?
sushifornico 2 weeks ago
@sushifornico There are lots of singles that cruise Disney. It really depends on what you are looking for. There are a lot of kids on a Disney ship, but nice adult only areas as well. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call 888-882-5793
