Making Of Raise the Titanic - New Book Trailer

Here is my preview trailer for my forth coming "new" book on the making of the 1980 ITC classic movie "Raise the Titanic". The book will be the first of it's kind and will take the reader behind-the-scenes of this iconic movie, using hundreds of rare and never before seen photographs and stories from the film set and those who worked on the film.

As the book is still largely in production, a release date is yet to be released, but an estimated release will be the latter part of summer 2011.

I am a huge Titanic buff and have read several books on the subject. I saw part of "Raise the Titanic" when I was about 15 and I've been wanting to watch the entire movie ever since. Over the years I've heard about it's reputation of being one of the most troubled productions of all time as well as it's standing as one of the biggest bombs in movie history. I am really looking forward to reading your book and finding out the true story of the move and it's production.

Seeing that the Ship is Broken in Half...be hard to Raise it

There was more recent big-budget bomb, Bonfire of the Vanities. The director would later say, "But I mean, nobody realized it was going wrong when we were making it. We were very enthusiastic about what we were doing". That film also changed major characters and plotlines from the original serial publication. It's probably what happed in Raise the Titanic. The changes disappointed fans of the novel and also in themselves seemed absurb.

odd as i thought it was a good movie... was one of the inspirations for me to write my spin on what really happened to the Titanic and the "alleged" accident.

Great that your are getting a behind the scenes book published, it maybe a bit late but have you talked to John Barry about his magnificent score for this film, its probably the highlight of the film for me as I'm a fan of soundtracks.
