Using audio and movie stills, I have posted what I feel is an important scene from the movie "School Ties" with Brendan Fraser, and a host of other future movie stars. In this scene, the headmaster Dr. Bartram addresses his well-to-do students and talks about the responsibilities they face as America's future elite.
I feel that every person who's thinking about a career in business and/or politics, as well as people already very high up in those fields MUST hear this speech. And this movie was set in the late '50s. In today's climate, just replace the word "country" with "world".
"Today, more than ever, this country needs an elite that cares more for honor, than for advantage. More for service, than for personal gain."
"School Ties" is copyrighted by Paramount Pictures 1992.
