The first scenes from a documentary I'm making about my brother, Dan. Initially, my aim was to tell the story of his transition from high school into the work force. Two years since this footage was shot, I am still following him around with a camera.

  • Thank you. Thank You! THANK YOU!!! I love this. I am sure that I speak for every mother of a kid with DS or any other disability when I say this is AWESOME and inspiring. I have been watching vids all day of Dan & family and am overwhelmed by the amount of hope that they have given me. Thanks again! Oh, I have just RSVPd for the KoP PaTTAN on the 16!! Can't wait!

  • You're words are very encouraging, just as long as you realize the event is on the 18th.

  • SANTORA IS THE MAN!

  • WTF Mrs. Kenny? "Approach him in a way that doesn't scare him or make him think he's in trouble??" Thats how the American justice system works! If anyone steals, they should be prosecuted. Thats the way the world works. Disability should be irrelevant.

  • Check check

Around his neck gold medal's hung, resting on his giant tongue. At the Special Olympics! Kid with Downs wins the race, even though he stood in place. At the Special Olympics! -Sung by Stephen Lynch
