When My Daddy Speaks

The Father gave me this song 8 days before Father's Day 2009. He told me to take off work (on the manditory holiday - which would have been a big payday) in order to sing this song at my church for the sunday morning service. the pastor okayed it, and my boss gave me the day off, by request.

When God asked me to do this, it was not easy to say 'yes' immediately. but i felt a bit like moses when the displeasure of the Lord started to burn against me. i'm not sure if anyone else has ever experienced that, but i have decided to follow Jesus. this means to give up EVERYTHING! this world has nothing for me. the Lord is my portion! i will not store my treasure on earth, but i will store my treasure in heaven, for that is where my heart is. If you are not heavenly minded, you will be no good to the earth!
