diesel and dust is probably my least favourite oils album, but ironically enough the dead heart is one of my favourite oil songs.

The line refers to the Stolen Generation (where native Aboriginal children of white and aboriginal blood were forcefully taken away by the government) and also to the fact that due to the "Europeans" colonizing Australia, a lot of Aboriginal culture was lost and destroyed.

My perspective may be wrong. but that is how i perceive it to be.

what happened to the american indians was terrible, but it was nothing compared to what happened to the aborigines.
