I used to tell my Guests, "There's nothing wrong with taking a tour. It's who you take it with." I worked in marketing (soliciting the tours) and sales (selling the timeshare) for one of the best Vacation Clubs in the world. Honest. Ethical. Reputable. We were licensed agents that could lose their license.. The problem is, most people take tours with companies they don't know or don't recognize. A person waves $100 at them and the Guest says, "OK." Is it any wonder they have a tough time?

@jhart138 depends what resort your touring for example the resort i promote does not lie because we care about selling we sell alot,about rentals i work in that department i invite married couples to my resort as a way to say thank you i give you a valid cupon for 200 dollars off your car rental it all depends you know,but i mean if you had a bad experience too bad for you other come back and thank me all they say is ¨it was a nice,but too expensive¨ i dont mind,i got 100 usd comission easy

Yeah he might have made it a lil too juicy and added salt when its already good enough. But people lets be real now inflation has risen much in how much time?How? With a greater cost. Nothing gets cheaper baby. And in this economy its simple, we to rebuild and keep life alive. Share your joy with friends and family and makem pitch in. Now u have fun a time sharring you memories with co-workers and friends. Everybody loves to hear stories. Sharring is carring. Mexico is great to buy.

I have sold Timeshare for 5 yrs. and it can be a great way to vacation. Unfortunately In Mexico, ulike the US, there is no Dept. of Real estate to regulate and eforce real estate law on them. Mexico gives the TS industry a bad name because they like to lie and decieve. Buy it for going on vacation! not for income! If someone starts "pitching rental", RUN! If buy for the right reason you can be one of the many happy owners I have met during my career.

Heres the thing. In the states all timeshare sales properties are supervised by state and federal sales levels. I have a real estate and property management license in NV which is required for me to sell time share in NV. We do not pitch this as an investment. We pitch it for what it is. A more enjoyable and enhanched way to have a lifetime full of vacations around the world that you own and can will to your estate. If you don't vacation it's not for you

Timeshares work as long as you know how to use them, cheap ass people expect to book three days before new years eve in Hawaii and get the master suite!!! Go to motel 6 then
